Ambassadors The Ambassadors are the public relations arm of the Chamber through assistance with fund-raising events and membership retention. You’ll see this energetic group at various Chamber events including Business After Hours, Fun Day and Tailgate Challenge. Government Affairs Committee The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) helps our members have their legislative voices heard on local, state and federal issues. This group is active with grassroots campaigns and works to provide pro-business legislation for our community. Kankakee Regional Young Professionals Core Council The Kankakee Regional Young Professionals (KRYP) is an exciting division of the Kankakee Regional Chamber of Commerce led by the Core Council. The core wants to be instrumental in building a dynamic professional community in the Kankakee River Valley –helping the region retain and attract people to our community through an exciting social and recreational environment, a robust economic and employment environment and a renewed sense of pride and interest in the future of the region. Women in Business Executive Committee Women in Business has been in existence since 1983. While acting in unity with the mission of the Kankakee Regional Chamber, the Women in Business Executive Committee's goal is to meet the needs of our region's working women by providing special programming and networking opportunities.
